The Heart of Palermo Tour

Discover the symbolic places of the history, culture, and architecture of Palermo: we will start your private tour from Teatro Massimo, cross the Capo historic market, and then head toward the Royal Palace, where we will visit the splendid Palatine Chapel.

Later on, you may admire the Cathedral, the Quattro Canti, Piazza Pretoria with the "fountain of shame", the small jewel of the Martorana Byzantine church (Unesco site), and the nearby church of Santa Caterina d'Alessandria, one of the most fascinating examples of Palermitan Baroque. Then we continue to the old district of Kalsa, full of enchanting views. Here we will pass in front of Piazza S. Francesco, with its namesake Romanesque church and famous historic focacceria, and finish the visit on Piazza Marina with the spectacular ficus trees of the Garibaldi garden: veritable monuments of nature.
