Starting from the marvellous Villa Farnesina in the heart of the Trastevere neighborhood it’s one of the harmonious creations of Italian Renaissance. It’s artwork include the famous Galatea by Raphael, the Loggia of Cupid and Psyche and the Hall of Prospective. Our expert tour guide will take you on a walking tour through the historical centre - starting from Spanish Steps - well known for the staircase of the titular church of the Holy Trinity of the Hills and the Barcaccia (the Fountain of the Old Boat). We will then move to Trevi Fountain, well known for the movie “La Dolce Vita” (“The sweet life”) by Federico Fellini - 1960.
Our visit will continue towards an ancient pagan temple - Pantheon Church - nowadays has become a Christian Basilica. We will then visit Navona Square to admire Gian Lorenzo Bernini and Francesco Borromini’s incredible artworks. Than explore the Gallery, the exhibition space in the heart of Palazzo Doria Pamphilj in via del Corso. Here, in the four wings looking into the internal courtyard with its splendid arches, is located the best part of the art collection: Caravaggio, Velázquez, Raphael, Titian and all the European masters. Built on the original nucleus of a residence of the 16th century, the Gallery is part of Palazzo Doria Pamphilj, where the family has lived since the 17th century.

Enjoy the authentic atmosphere of an original Renaissance garden in the Villa Farnesina, a beautiful complex built in the early sixteenth century by the architect Baldassarre Peruzzi for the rich Sienese banker Agostino Chigi. With its rich interior decoration, boasting frescos by great masters such as Raphael, Sebastiano del Piombo and Peruzzi himself and its elegant architectural design, the Villa Farnesina is universally recognized as a real masterpiece in the heart of Rome.
Built in 1725 to connect Piazza di Spagna with the French monastery church Trinità dei Monti. There are 135 steps and three different terraces overlooking the amazing Fontana della Barcaccia, designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini. Placed at the bottom of the Spanish Steps there is one of the most famous squares in Rome. It owes its name to the Palazzo di Spagna, the seat of the Embassy of Spain to the Holy See.
Considered the most popular fountain in the world, it is 30 meters wide and was built against the ancient Palazzo Poli. Fontana di Trevi stands at the junction of three roads, which come together just in front of the fountain. Don't forget to toss a coin into the Fountain if you wish to return to Rome!

Among the many masterpieces housed in the Doria Pamphilj Gallery it is impossible not to mention three stunning canvases by the Caravaggio: the Penitent Magdalene, the Rest on the Flight into Egypt and St. John the Baptist.
