Discover the Heart of the Eternal City with its beautiful squares and fountains, the Jewish quarter and the majestic Colosseum.

The Eternal City has always been considered a museum of wonders for all the great monuments it hosts in the inner city. Our expert tour guide will take you through the historical centre with a private transfer, starting from the Spanish Steps, well known for the staircase of the titular church of the Holy Trinity of the Hills and the Barcaccia (the Fountain of the Old Boat). We will then carry on to the Trevi Fountain, well known for the movie “La Dolce Vita” of 1960. Our visit will continue towards an ancient temple of pagan deities, the Pantheon, which today is a Christian Basilica. After that we will visit Navona Square to admire the artworks of Gian Lorenzo Bernini and Francesco Borromini.

We will continue our tour in the Jewish quarter, one of the most beautiful areas in the city: from the Synagogue to the Square of the Cinque Scole, from the Theatre of Marcello to the Porticus Octaviae. In the afternoon, after a lunch break in the historical centre of Rome, we will visit the Colosseum. Officially called the Flavian Amphitheater, it is the most emblematic symbol of Rome and its glorious past. We will guide you inside to admire the arena where gladiators and wils animals fought to the death and explore the intricacies of how such a magnificent structure functioned.
