Officially called the Flavian Amphitheatre, but much better known as the Colosseum, it is the most emblematic symbol of Rome and its glorious past. We will guide you inside it to explore the intricacies of how such a magnificent structure functioned.
You will walk through the Arch of Constantine until reaching the Roman Forum, the cultural and political centre of the Ancient Rome, the capital city of the Roman Empire. Standing tall above the forum is the Palatine Hill with its legendary mythical beginnings of Rome and the site of the emperor’s residences from the time of Augustus.
