The Amalfi Coast is one of the most popular Italian destinations. Featuring an array of towering cliffs and brightly coloured villages dotted along the coastline and the so-called ‘road of 1,000 bends’.
Our itinerary will start from Positano, one of the most picturesque towns of the Amalfi Coast. Here, the houses seem to tumble down to the sea, surrounded by chic boutiques, restaurants, and cafés in ‘Dolce Vita’ style. The tour will continue to Amalfi where we will visit the Cathedral and its Cloister, born from the combination of medieval and islamic art. Here, amazing mosaics, decorations and a breathtaking view over the Piazza Duomo will be waiting for you.
During the next part of the tour we’ll make our way to Ravello. Here, the local houses cling to the steep mountainside while the hilly medieval streets wind their way up through the dense greenery. From this beautiful city there are plenty of opportunities to admire the stunning coastline and breathe in the fresh sea air. We will visit the Duomo, one of the excellences of Italian art, that overlooks Villa Rufolo, the balcony of the Amalfi Coast. The last stop will be Vietri sul Mare, the ceramics and glazed majolica capital of Campania. Here, we will visit a local factory to see how hand made ceramics are manufactured using traditional methods.
