Our walking tour gives you the opportunity to explore the city without entering the museums. We will walk through the beautiful city starting in Piazza della Signoria, located in the heart of the city, with its ancient buildings and famous statues.
We will then reach the river crossing and the long courtyard of the Uffizi Gallery, in order to discover the amazing view you can enjoy from Ponte Vecchio. After that, we will accompany you to the district of Santa Croce, a production area of leather goods. In fact, Florence is world famous for the production of fine quality, hand-crafted leather goods.
We will then visit the church of Santa Croce, a fascinating art museum which holds works by Giotto, Donatello and Della Robbia. The church houses the monumental tombs of distinguished Italian geniuses, such as Michelangelo, Galileo Galilei, Machiavelli, Ghiberti and Rossini. The last part of the tour will be dedicated to the discovery of the city's medieval streets and towers. We will admire the exterior of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, better known as the Duomo. The guided tour will end in front of the Baptistery, one of the city's most ancient religious buildings, where you will admire the Gates of Paradise.

Named after the Palazzo della Signoria, also called Palazzo Vecchio, it is the main point of the origin and history of the Florentine Republic and still maintains its reputation as the political focus of the city. Nowadays, it is the meeting place of Florentines as well as the numerous tourists, and gateway to Uffizi Gallery.
An everlasting symbol of Florence, the Ponte Vecchio (or Old Bridge) was the only bridge across the Arno in Florence until 1218. Open all the time, along the pedestrian zone south of Piazza della Repubblica towards Palazzo Pitti, it doubles as a marketplace for gold goods and fine jewelry.
Built in 1295 in gothic style by the will of the Franciscan friars, Santa Croce Basilica has become the largest Franciscan church in the world. Within its walls and in the spaces of the monumental complex it preserves over seven centuries of history, showcasing masterpieces by Cimabue, Giotto, Donatello, Brunelleschi, Vasari and Canova.
In Florence you can easily get lost among the many medieval streets that populate the city. In fact, many streets in the ancient heart of Florence follow the Roman model, such as the narrow crooked alleys, forts with little or no windows, and arched passages.
